Meet Us


Fully Nourished was born from the collective passion of Registered Dietitians Alexandra Rae and Felicia Stewart. We met while studying at Simmons College in Boston, MA where we each received post-baccalaureate certificates in nutrition and dietetics. Together, we learned the fundamentals of nutrition, explored practicing these concepts in our own lives, and developed a deep friendship. Fate aligned yet again, and we were both accepted to the Dietetic Internship program at Massachusetts General Hospital, where we completed training in the clinical, counseling, and food service aspects of dietetics.

 

Fully Nourished is our outlet to share our passion for a happy, healthy, and fully nourished life – one that includes Brussels sprouts, cupcakes, wine, and everything in between. We believe that all foods fit, all bodies are beautiful, movement should be joyous, and balance is key. Our goal is to provide you with the information, resources and inspiration to live your life fully nourished – whatever that means to you!

Favorite Meal: Hummus and warm, fluffy pita bread #hummusisafoodgroup

Feel Good Workout: Pilates Intense Interval Training – these workouts are only 28 minutes long and combine the principles of HIIT training and pilates. I love how quick, effective, and FUN these workouts are!

Favorite Appliance: KitchenAid Mixer – this was my first major kitchen appliance, and I absolutely love baking! There’s something so special about sharing freshly baked confections with friends and family.

Special Place: Napa Valley, CA – nothing beats sunshine and crisp wine! If I could spend my days biking amongst the vineyards, sampling delectable cheeses and enchanting wines…oh, what a wonderful world.

Guilty Pleasure: P-Nut Crunch chocolate candies! Every time I visit home, my mom and I make a special trip to See’s Candy just for these. Decadent peanut toffee covered in silky milk chocolate – YES!

Favorite Meal: Tacos! Whether it is in salad form or a few, stuffed soft tortillas, you can’t go wrong with perfectly seasoned beef, baby spinach, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, plain Greek yogurt, and salsa- YUMMM!

Feel Good Workout: POP Pilates – I grew up doing every type of dance out there! Pop Pilates puts working out to music, and it feels like a dance on the yoga mat! Don’t let the upbeat music and melodic movements fool you though, I am always sore the next day!

Favorite Appliance: Vegetable Spiralizer– nothing beats a bowl of zoodles with homemade tomato sauce!

Special Place: Sugarloaf Mountain, Carrabassett Valley, ME – crisp air, snow-kissed trees, nothing but corduroy beneath my skis! The view from the top of this mountain on a classic, Maine winter day keeps me grounded and provides prospective.

Guilty Pleasure: Popcorn with Parmesan cheese – I love wrapping up in a fuzzy blanket on cold, rainy days and watching Netflix with my big bowl of popcorn covered in Parmesan cheese!
